Selling my Scorpion, I just purchased it this spring and alot of people in the Donzi community know this boat. I have put 20 hours on it and have not had one issue. For people who do not know about the Scorpion engine it is 377ci 377 HP hand-built blueprinted and balanced engine from Mercury Racing (read here: http://brucebullockmarine.com/mercury/2005_sterndrive_hp_377_scorpion.html ). I believe there are only 5 or 6 boats built with this package. When new MSRP on these boats was well over $50k in 2002! Comes with dual Axel Integrity Trailer with electric brakes. Only "flaw" is one of the axles on the trailer has some camber, it was checked out before I bought the boat and was told it was OK. There are also two small dings on the trailer on the fenders. ~217 hours, runs 69MPH all day long, my best speed is 72.5 GPS.

Factory Options:

Scorpion/Bravo package
Corsa Quick and Quiet Exhaust
Trim tabs
Dual batteries with cutoff switch (Optima Blue top batteries)
Hour meter
Mechanical trim gauges, very accurate!
Windshield
Cockpit cover (blue, included)

Additions:
Since I have had the boat I have added:

Lightweight aluminum manifolds and risers (I bought them as "GLM" but they did not have GLM stamping on the side like my last set I had, saved about 80+ lbs out of the boat!) ($800)
Corsa slash exhaust tips ($400)
Livorsi side throttle with new zero effort cables (bought from Donzi so it has the Donzi sticker on it) $620 (Throttle $500, Cables $120 + my labor)
Stereo: Pioneer head unit with Sat radio, Kicker Marine 700 Watt Amp with remote bass control located under dash within drivers reach, 4 Kicker LED Marine Speakers (wired into NAV light switch, not on all the time), bass tube sub in ski locker. ($1,500 + my blood and sweat and fiberglass scars)
New "Scorpion" logo on the top of the engine. ($200)
2 x New billet battery boxes ($200)
LED drain plug light, also wired into NAV light switch ($100)
Turbo 25p Prop ($300)

I changed all fluids when I bought the boat with Mercruiser synthetic engine oil, and Merc drive oil.

This boat kicks ass.

Reason for sale:
I know a lot of you guys are going to be asking me this and yelling at me! I now live 45 minutes from the boat, I keep it in an enclosed storage unit near the local lake. It takes me too much time to get home from work, get to the storage, wait in line at the public boat ramp. By the time its all said and done it take me 3 hours to get on the water and back home. It also pains me not to have my boat at my house were I can detail the begesus out of it whenever I want. Also I bought a Lotus so I can't keep all my toys!

What? :eek!:

I find that no reserve auction is the only way to really sell on eBay, I had over 200 watchers and a lot more inquires then doing the standard reserve auction. Looks like Pier 57 won the auction. We will see what happens!

Congratulations! Well done.

You are much braver than I am. And obviously more experienced. I hope the sale goes through smoothly for you. :)
