Really like the colours . Nice boat .

As far as the seats go , I know that Donzi and Harry were trying to do something a little different then , and they do add a degree of posh functionality what with the built in bar or whatever it was , but if it were me I would have put in simple pedestal style seats.

Those things always reminded me of two 24 cubic foot Amana upright refrigerators bolted to the c0ckpit floor.

How many of those were made?
You certainly don't see them too often.

I think Matty has a handle on the approximate number , maybe Ole Red too .
I think the total run , that included the Spirit and the El Pescador as well, was probably under 50 all told .

And the Spitfire - my personal favorite.

I knew I had left one out but for the life of me couldn't remember which one.
Oldtimers setting in .. haha

Neat boat. The lines are reminiscent of an old Seacraft or maybe a 24 Albemarle with the bow flare and deep V. This would be a cool hull to rig as a mini battlewagon with a hard top, some outriggers, and a single diesel w/ a jackshaft.

smidgen too

After rebuilding the transom on my Doral I know first hand leaving the boat uncovered [like this on looks] put these Dorals really at risk of transom wood & stringer rot. From the pic's [of this Doral] the wood where the exhaust tips were looks unsealed like mine was & that lead to my transom wood to rot. With the way Donzi built these hulls with the deck & inner liner laminated to the hull makes for repairs very difficult. Bill [oldred] will tell you first how expensive it is to have the work done right like he did with his Spitfire. Here are some pic's of how my transom looked & how Bills looks done right on his Spitfire.
