Hi All,

Looking to put new guages in a 1995 Donzi 22 classic. Boat is teal in color. Current gauge bezals are teal. Current gauges have black face looking to go with white. Looking for the correct guage replacement. Also want to replace the water pitot MPH gauge with a GPS gauge. Thoughts?

If your current gauges are vdo then the senders and switches may not be compatible with other mainstream gauges. Other than that there are lots of options. The Autometer marine and Livorsi seem to be popular around here. Hardin Marine makes some decent looking and low coat gauges. Let us know what you go with. This is on my winter project list too.

I replace the VDOs in my 97 with Livorsi's Gaffrig II gauges. I got lucky and all the senders worked with perfectly with the gauges so I didn't have to change any.

Personally I think white gauges are too 1999. I thought about replacing my VDO's but decided I like the black because everyone else has white. The new color of choice is silver which I guess goes with the stainless appliance fad as well.

No offense to Bob but I put the Gaffrig II's in my Baja and the VDO's are far superior in my opinion and hence why they are half(if not more) the price of regular Gaffrigs. I do not think they make the II's anymore.

Redink, I installed Auto Meter's and I have had absolutely no issues with them at all.

Ed, 75 isn't bad at 1650 RPM.

Actually it will run 74 at 5050 RPM and it is a 454.
