As some know I was stricken with cancer last year, the treatments beat the krap out of you. Just before I found out and on my last boat ride gear my ring let go, not being able to work on it just sat covered from the fall lay up. I was contemplating selling my 22 as is just giving up the ghost.

I got one hell of a surprise this weekend Mario (mphatc) came down from Hampshire Friday night, Mike (Maddad) came the crack of dawn Saturday AM from up the island. They tore into it and six hours later had it all back together. It is hard to put into words how I feel, both Bonnie and I have had tears in our eyes over it. Stuff like this goes well above normal friendships, they both refuse to let me owe them anything. God Bless them both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Felt I should add a little, Mario drove about 4-1/2 hours took the ferry to get overt to the island. We came out at about 7:30 and there was Mike sipping coffee waiting on us, he brought his engine crane both brought their expertise. I am an old marine tech I tried to get into the mix but they chased away, I was only allowed to remember where some stuff went. I did go added moral support, and went to my shop parts they were glad to get me out of their hair!!!!!!!!!!

Had to add a little more! They replaced the shift cable and bellows even though it low hours, also U joint bellows, re-ringed the flywheel (THEY LET ME HELP). They removed the Y pipe which I added when I was running the BH drive, it was not stock on the Tempest engines so now I have grandfathered legal open pipes!!! Waiting for a break in the temp to fire it and go for a ride, driveway will darn near melt your sneakers!!!!!!!!

Cool, x 1,000.

This is an excellent example of what goes around comes around, or the pay it forward philosophy. I'm pretty certain that you have done countless favors for others, and even have first-hand experience. Awesome job Mario and Mick, karma will eventually find you.

Phil, Cherrie and I are sending positive health thoughts your way...stay strong and confident!
