I am seriously considering selling my 1970 Classic 18. It is a project boat. The engine is shot (0 compression in 6 of 8 cylinders), the Volvo 250 outdrive has a water leak (the oil turns chocolate colored), and as far as I know the gas tank is original but not currently leaking. The boat was poorly painted and it now has cracks and other blemishes on its top deck. There is a crack in the fiberglass dash. The seats have spider cracks all over them. In the positive side, I installed an electronic ignition and fixed the wiring to the gauges. The Holley carburetor was rebuilt less than 2 years ago. The power tilt, bilge blower, and bilge pump all work, and I have an extra Volvo 250 upper unit and prop.
What would be a fair price for this boat? Note: if you have contacted me about buying this boat your estimate will be discounted.:biggrin.:
