I don't post much on here but value the information greatly. I need to know if a 2000 16 classic has wood in the transom or stringers? I found one I'm interested in as I sold my 22c (after several enjoyable years) last year and bought a 26zx (for a family boat). I definelty have the Donzi disease I believe.

Thanks
Michael

My 1998 had wood.

Now I’m curious. I didn’t know DONZI ever used anything but wood for the stringers and transom. Did they use something other than wood in the newer Classics?

I thought I saw some where on here that 2000 and newer had some sort of composite / glass stringers and transom. As I was told my 99 26 zx was built that way but maybe I'm crazy. I just can't find the old thread.

My 04 22 has wood stringers, but foam in the transom. Well, not really foam, but something of the sort. Don't know what it really is.
