I submitted my 66 vette as best father's ride for a local radio station, if you have a minute to vote me up I'd appreciate it. Keep in mind they make you verify your email so it takes a minute.

Vette, very nice car, I tried to vote but you apparently have to belong to that waste of time Facebook so I could not help you out.

I was agonizing over voting for the red car with the faux patina but I would have voted for you in the end. Good luck and it really is a great looking car.

Thanks for the kind words. Car is a rare one, not that it really matters, as it is ermine white with green interior. I like it because it is a really dark green so people come up to it and it is an unexpected surprise. I have the numbers matching 327 but it currently has an LT1 out of a 95 vette. So for me it is the best of everything. A mid year that starts and runs like a late model car... At idle it has a low grumble, touch the gas and the side pipes come to life! It puts a smile on my face for sure!

I am not sure I have ever seen one with a dark green interior, sounds like a really nice combination with the white exterior. I like the idea of keeping the "numbers" motor and installing a late model motor and having fun with the car. I have an 03 Z06 that I am hoping to finally get out this weekend. I have a coffee date with Ed sometime soon and I look forward to seeing his Vette.

Good luck with yours. Good luck with the show, got to be a winner.
