Ok so I went on 3 full throttle take offs and the motor crapped out and wouldn't start because I think my starter is going out.

Here are the plugs after I got towed in.

I don't think I'm getting enough timing advance so I'm going to throw in the heavier weights/lighter springs.

Should I change jets at this time?

not sure I like that rusty color... fuel fresh? octane booster being used? water in the fuel?

the pic isn't very clear.. but you should be able to see a definitive color change on the strap of the plug which shows advanced or retarded timing depending on the color change location on the strap

I pumped out all my old fuel which was 87 octane when I installed electric fuel pump. I had 50 gallon of fresh 92 octane. I bought it that day so that the motor would be loaded better for ring break in.

One of the plugs was a bit whiter by the strap. It was the darker of the two shown above. The darker one was from the 3rd cylinder from the front on the port side. The lighter one is the cylinder all the way aft port side.

I pulled one float bowl off before checking the plugs. I figured I was rich anyways. Now I'm not so sure. I'll go grab you a transom shot.

Here's what the transom looked like after I did the 3 full throttle launches. It wasn't this dirty after the cam break in.

The guy I bought this carb from had it on a 565 CI.
