Kind of a cool old boat, but not sure on the value. In my novice opinion it would be way more cost effective to take the $3k and light it on fire, and then go and buy an already restored 18 for $20k. This looks more like a labor of love for someone that just has to have this particular boat. Or just needs a big ass project as an excuse to hide from their wife in the shop for the next five years...

As I lust after another red triple hatch...

I hope we see this one restored to what it could/should be. $3k is a great price for someone who has the knowhow to put it back together.
