Reason for selling: I also have a Donzi Project X-18 that has just been restored (after 11 months) and with work I barely find time to run one Donzi, much less two. I am also looking for another project boat and sale of this turnkey Donzi will help fund new project.

White hull/blue stripe
Blue carpet - great shape
Blue cockpit cover - very good shape (two spots around button need to be resewn but does not effect ability of cover to snap)
Full store-bought cover comes with boat
Currently has platinum gauge bezels but original will be provided to buyer as well
Newer steering wheel - looks awesome but original will be provided to buyer as well
Comes with life vests, horn, flares

General conditon of boat: very clean, maybe not showroom conidtion but da** close.

No spider cracks
No stains
No major scratches or gouges.
No issues...period

Color matching Integrity trailer - mags, spare with mag,
Trailer condition is very good - very small chips in a few spots on fender but no rust.

Please feel free to contact me at ablively@att.net with questions or more photos.

No surprise.
A very nice boat that was fairly priced.
Maybe there's some life in the used boat market after all.

Congrats. And Condolences!

Good luck w/ the X18 and beyond!

Thanks Jay! Yep, she sold almost too fast...but at least it cut-short the agony of selling her. I think it was a very fair price for the buyer...he got a good deal and although I absorbed a small loss from what I paid for her I am not kicking myself. I figure it was a small price to pay for the pleasure of owning her. Onward and upward...lots of other boats in the ocean!

I'll never forget watching Phil Lipschutz walk up to Jill at the Lee's Ford lunch stop at the Awakening and tell her how surprised he was to come up behind this Scorpion 18 and see a lady running it perfectly and not letting up at all, not for a moment! He more less stated that he had never seen something like this before. Nice compliment to my better half.

Hope to see this unique boat running again at a rally soon.... Congrats on the sale.

Cool photo and story Todd. As we both well know, this boat can be a handful...so this speaks volumes about your better half. The new owner is a great guy and, who knows, you might just see "our" old boat circulating around.

I sure woulda sold it to you Buiz.

Oddly enough, I was THAT close (said in a Maxwell Smart voice) to pulling the trigger on that Alpha from Ace but somebody apparently DID pull the trigger on it!

Ha! Well it looks like we almost had a circulation of boats and parts then because I bought the boat that Buizilla wanted (I'm Aaron) and Buizilla bought the drive that I had for sale. Small world I guess or we all like the same things!

I have not been on for a while and just seeing these latter posts. Congrats to Aaron for landing a great boat...and I too am pleased it's staying in the "family". When I wrote my post above about possibly seeing the boat "circulating" I knew Ace was going to try and make AOTH and I did not want to let the cat out of the proverbial bag. Sounds like fun was had by all...and apparently the Scorp performed flawlessly as always. My best to all.
