Very cool - a blank canvas!

Not sure which needs more love, the boat or the trailer...

So what's the plan for this thing?

I have have all deck hardware, running gear, new upholstery and cockpit cover. The only thing I am missing is the deck and big block engine. I can build a 502 mpi at the office. The only question mark is that I need a deck.

Actually the trailer is quite solid. It could use pre emptive wheel bearings and definitely some new tires.

Sweet. Those bunks are all kinds of cockeyed looking at the transom picture. Looks like they are offset to the right of the trailer. Should be an easy enough fix.

Scot - in retrospect I probably came off as a dick mentioning the bunks - definitely not my intention. Just kind of grabbed my eye looking at the pictures.

V-drive Hornets are sweet! That is a whole lot of boat! And at least you can check out the fuel tank while you contemplate a deck build...

Another one saved! You are welcome to use my hull which is sitting on my friends ranch in Northern California. I won't be touching it for at least a year while I am working in Stan-land. Hard to get parts for these boats, I am still trying to track down a windshield myself. Keep us updated with pictures!

Wooden deck possibilities? Or are you keepin' her "pure"?

I crawled around on it today and it is solid! That trailer could move a house. Well a small one, ok a nice shed. Its all in great shape but I see hours to get it done.

Great move. It is sure to keep you busy, and you will have a very rare boat when done.
Or you can design something new - a 21' St. Tropez? All the best, Don.
