Brownie had them made and sold them as a tribute to thunderboat row I think 2003 is when the last go fast mfg'r left 188th st

Matty's probably going to beat me to the punchline , but they were produced by Brownie maybe around 2005 .. ?
It was in recognition of NE 188th Street being finally shut down to boatbuilding and becoming the condo-ised neighbourhood of Aventura.

They were available in gold plate , silver plate and bronze.

I think the bulk of the promotion was over on OSO .

What size are they? It looks a little thick, but I suppose they were meant to be attached to any boat built on NE 188th?

about a 3-4 inch oval and about an 1/8 of an inch thick they were meant to be adhered to the dash of the boat they have two glue pads on the back , yes you needed to have a boat built there I remember giving info on my 16 to brownie as well as selecting silver instead of gold.

Appropriate mounting locations on the St T are kind of limited but I put it under the control box but above the igniton key.
On the Mag it's on the bulkhead right in front of the passenger seat for slightly better visibility to others.

I usually nail down a time frame by other events.
If you look at my join date (2003), I hadn't yet bought the Minx, or was in the process.....
So, I think they came available in early 2004, but may have been late 2003.
I bought the bronze version and it was about $100.00. Gold and silver were probably a bit more.
I also think there were limited numbers, maybe 300 total.
I never mounted mine. I looked for it a few months ago and couldn't find it so I assume I gave it to Dan.
Brownie was still working at SM at the time. I remember calling him and ordering it.
