Help please.

Why don't any of my posts with pictures show up? Do they all require Adminstrator approval? That is the message I'm getting.

Where are you trying to post? There could be a delay if you are trying to post in the FOR SALE section.

If they aren't in the FOR SALE section, I don't know why they wouldn't come through.

For kicks, try clicking on the EDIT POST button on the lower right side of your post here, then click GO ADVANCED. That should bring up a page that has a MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button below the text box.

Click MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and then choose SELECT FILE(S), and walk through the process, concluding with hitting the UPLOAD FILES button. When the file(s) are uploading, close that window, and hit the SAVE button.

It should then add the picture(s) to the first post.

Thanks for the reply Bill.

I was trying to post right here to Donzi Performance Talk. I was linking to pictures from my Photobucket account. The preview of the post looked perfect, but when I submit I get the message about Administrator approval.

Been lurking here since 2003 and bought a 69 Ski Sporter this weekend! So stoked to get some pictures on here and get some answers to question I have.

BTW, beautiful boat you have there. Someday I hope to get this one in the same shape.

were you trying to just post a url link to your photobucket album or were you trying to insert/embed the actual photobucket images?

1. I think Matty is asking the right questions.

2. What is the the actual URL ("image link" or whatever) you are trying to use?

nice looking project can you decipher the hull number? hard to tell in the pics looks like 16- some thing 71?

fire away with any questions looks like a relatively original boat some things look to have been added

C16-505 is what was on the title.

Pretty much a time capsule with the exception of the exhaust manifold, water pump and fuel pump. Not so sure about the Ford 4 barrel carb though. Boat has been in storage for 13 years.

Looks like it's all there.

I like the old Teleflex gauges. Which engine? Which drive?

505 might be a '68, but I think Matty is right about whatever is scrawled behind the dash. That could be your hull #.

Congrats and welcome!

Thanks JL! It's been a long time coming. Can't wait to get her home tonight. Wife just laughs at me acting like a kid with a new bike.

Not sure exactly what 289/302 is in there. Same goes for the drive.

I couldn't make heads or tails out the hull number on the dask, but C16-505 was on the title.

if you provide the serial numbers on the bell housing, the drive silver tag on top , and the block casting numbers by the starter I can research them and get you a history on the boat and what motor and drive you have. is that original gell? 505 might be the number but it might not be correct. also look up by the bow eye backing plate the number might be more legible.

This is the 7th year I've had my boat and the wife actually came out a lot! The matching fleeces didn't hurt either - I'm guessing......

OK - I like the fleeces too!

505 was not yellow originally. Check your drive, 505 had drive #
B220915...

however.... 495 and 500 match that color combo...
