Ed is home safe after a 17 hour drive...over 1200 miles and he averaged 65+ mph in his Corvette! Glad you are home safely Ed!

It was a whirlwind week to be sure.. I was in Ossining New York Monday to get a tranny,engine,and fly by wire throttle tune. Then off to see Scott,Heidi,and Jim in Miami.

They are the coolest people in Miami..and Scott gives the greatest directions.

Off to Lake Wales to finally meet James Clark who I sold my Moms house to....

Next is the Rembrandt of Donzi boats...George Carter and his hot rodder wife..
Because of George I have to get Netflix now to catch up on my English humor..

Quick hop over to the Elgin Airforce base to get a pic of the Blackbird

Now I drop by to meet Chico,Devo and Abby, just wonderful hosts in Gulfbreeze.
I have never felt more welcome in my life.. Their pets Barry and Denise were cute too..

Now its time to take a relaxing 2 day drive home, as Shannon and I watch Big Brother.
I have 36 hours to get home and it is only 1,400 miles.

About to pull over around 10 p.m. to get a motel and I get a call from my son Andrew.
Slight smell of natural gas in the pool shed Dad.. Got your gas leak detector out of your truck
and it isn't a big leak..Left the door open and shut off all the breakers....Good to go until you get home Sunday night.. You guessed it, drove nonstop home to find next door neighbour didn't close the valve on one of his burners on his natural gas B.B.Q.

Had a quick nap and woke up 26 hrs later.....
