I am constantly amazed at how some parts are so hard to source. ...I am looking for a dipstick tube to fit the side of the 8quart oil pan on the new Gen VI 502 going into the 22 and not finding one out there. MichiganMotorz had one designed for the side of the pan but when I called to order it they told me it was on b/o so they were taking it off their site.

I am about ready to just put a plug in this and use the drain plug at the bottom of the pan for the dipstick attachment point as I think those dipstick tubes are easy to find.

Anyone out there got a quick fix idea?

Thanks again and have a great 3 day weekend.

Get a universal from the auto parts store and cut to size.

Or here is a few to look at.

I about guarantee you are going to have to make something fit. For some reason bbc original dipsticks are insane to find. I was offered 150 bucks for the last one I had for sale. For a tube and a metal stick.
