while it is HIGHLY likely you'll get the boot..

there could be no better toccata reverberating through the hills than WA-LO

it's just in a class all by itself

you should invest in a pair of Gibson turndowns just in case, it would show at least you made an attempt

oh, and that underwater rock at the end of the TC dock loves deep rudders...

I would keep and eye on that shifter knob and rear seat cushions if I were you. I can convert the blue in my boat to green pretty easily ;P

For so many years, WA-LO has always been the epitome of a fine Donzi and just legendary in my eyes.

Congrats Scott, I'm happy to see you're the new "caretaker"!

Is it difficult getting that thing propped correctly so that it not only goes like you expect it to , but it doesn't have any bad manners either ?

Not sure yet. John set the boat up and I really have no seat time as of yet. Guess we will see.:embarasse

Scott,

WA-LO looks really great. That sc belt tensioner looks like fun to adjust. FYI last year when the LG boys stopped me 200' from the launching ramp my magnum blew a 98db. Got a set of hardin slip ins and sqeeeeked by. 150 bucks and just 1 set screw in the bottom of the exaust tip. Just have to stay below 3400 rpm to be safe with back pressure.

Guess I will take my chances this time up with the noise. Its the big car show up there and its off season. So I guess I will see.

Did they kick you off the lake? or just pay the fine and go?

They told me I couldn't use the boat on the lake. I got the set of slip- ins fed ex'ed up next day and there was paperwork with them showing 8db reductions. Put them in, boated for 5 days with no problem, called the police for a retest the day I was leaving and passed. Got paperwork showing 90db and they lifted the fine. I was in Bolton again last month and ran with the mufflers with no problems.
PS, the officer that gave me the ticket was the same guy from the 2010 Dust off safety speech.... Re-test was a woman who was very reasonable.

I doubt that it will pass even with the slip ons. Dry exhaust and 1000hp....:banghead:

Dry exhaust and 1000hp

Do you realize how cool it is to be able to say that about your boat?

That is so very, very cool.:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::c ool:

Scott,

No, I doubt you could get to 90db but if its 104 now for argument sake, they could drop it to 94-95 maybe and thats a good bit of bark taken out.

To really appreciate the sound, think "Gas Dragster"!!!!!

Wouldn't Drew Marine Shotguns deflect the sound down enough to get a pass??..Ed
