16-436 completed June of 1967 eaton badged volvo aq200 was an 165hp interceptor boat.

looks like it has been updated on certain things the gauges, steering wheel and decals

is it paint or gel???

has the tank been replaced?

looks like a solid project boat for a deck off resto look for a 270 B ratio drive setup for a chevy and you'll have no problem with 350 hp and if the transom solid you should be able to re-use the transom plate and cutout. a 280t might also be something to look for as well that will give you trim with some drilling .

If you are going to reglass the transom think newer volvo or merc

re-checking your photos, the intermediate housing is the short one that moves the motor farther a stern . the newer 270 intermediate will be longer you will probably want to get everything with the 270, transom housing, new seal, intermediate. of course that means the motor moves forward. I have never seen a chevy use that short intermediate.

I have only seen that short intermediate on an early ford setup, my 67 16-410 had that intermediate it began it's life as an eaton badged volvo aq 200 and an interceptor and was upgraded in 69 to a 290 hp holman moddy 351w and volvo 250

vents match a 67 what is used for deck support? coring or pvc pipes?
