Ok I could be wrong, but I thought I seen a thread where someone here got there Z33 over 90 Mph? I thought it was the one with the Paul Pfaff 600's in it. Did a search and can't seem to find it. I've seen the threads of the blown 454's of jceiv that can just tickle the 80's. BUT thought it was a blue one that bumped in the 90's???
Ok IF I'm wrong, and possibly I am, what IS the fastest these things have gone? I know thety can run in the 70's fairly well, but like something more when completed.
Thanks,
G-MAN

Bet it would take more than 600 a side to get one to 90.

The blue one with the Pfaff motors is owned by a friend here in north Texas who boats on Lake Texoma where I live. The previous owner is a member here who might comment, but I don't think it runs much over 75MPH from memory. It has TRS drives. Bill

I know this is an old post but I just stumbled on it. I built to 540s for a 88 Z33 Crossbow that ran on Lake Travis, all we could get from it was 78 mph on GPS. you can see the build at www.aaperformance.org
