I sold it a couple years back so I could concentrate on my Camaro.
My friend did the body and paint now, the car goes 11.50s
I built the motor, after I blew the stock one at the track. I had owned the car a week at that point.
I was the second owner, 48K miles when I bought it. See the 185 on the windshield,,,,unfortunately this was the day after going to the track, drove the car home with a spun bearing, god that was a long night, followed by a long week!

I got it back together, went low 12s and also got some 11s out of it, then sold to my buddy.

Not sure if it is ok, to post tons of pics?

These are old, but figure you guys would like them. He raced hugely on the street and had one of, if not the quickest car in the area.
He spent 3 years building it, sold it before leaving for Vietnam so my mom would have money, case anything happened. When he got home, after spending 7 months in the hospital, not being able to walk, he went and searched for the car. The kid blew the 409, put a 327 in it and totaled the car....it was long gone. He made the traction bars, my grandfather, who had a body shop for over 50 years did all the body work in lead.....notice the lack of trim and tail lights, this was just after he painted it, took it out for a little whip below the Chelsea bridge.

My dad then went and bought a 396 / 375 hp Nova TH400 12 bolt with 3.55's
Car turned high 11's in street trim back in 1968 which was pretty damn fast
Notice the shadow under the front tire...
This was soon after my grandfather finished painting it, he had a shop for over 50 years, body work all done in lead!
