Fellas,
Im first offering this here and if it doesnt sell by the end of July 2012, I will list elsewhere...Im not in a rush to sell it.... 1989 myco trailer. Carried my sweet 16 but could be used for 18 or other boat. When I got the trailer three years ago, It had some rust issues with the step plates and fenders. I cut these off, welded in 2.5" 3/8" thick angle iron, welded them to the trailer, drilled them out, and fastened oak running boards finished with spar varnish with type 304 stainless carriage bolts and hardware. The fenders are welded between the angle iron. Fenders were bought at overtons. The wheels are chrome reverse wheels (ford bolt pattern) that I believe I bought from stockton wheel out of CA. The trailer has no brakes. Just a simple black trailer that tows VERY nicely, easy to load a boat on or off, nice hand winch with wire cord.
I have since sold the boat and bought another donzi with its own trailer, so I have a lonely trailer looking for a boat. The trailer is a myco made in FLA in 1989. The last picture (shown with no boat) was taken today. The wood should be sanded down again with a coat of varnish brushed on, some surface rust has appeared, but, I'd wire brush it off and apply por 15 paint. There is no rot through on the trailer.
The trailer is 100% roadworthy and sound. Id have no problem towing this anywhere in the country. Have free and clear title.
