Norm, you said you had a new owner last week, I guess the broken pump plug didn't stop him.

Will your boat continue to float on the St. Lawrence?

Now, how about that outboard Skater you were talking about?

Take a trip down to see George.

Sad to see it go the thing flat out ripped. Going Monday to look at a 05 Xtreme cat with a 300 promax x. I hope I will still be welcome with the Donzi crowd! Will see what happens. Ken do you know of a good 2-stroke oil!!!!!!! The 22 is still not out., We will see. What a run on the St. Lawerance. Fantastic last run in the 16!

Norm, I hear the Mercury Racing Two Cycle Oil is pretty good stuff.

It is green in color.

Hey Norm,

I don't suppose that 05 Extreme with the 300 is orange and is in the Orillia area... if so, I can put you in touch with the guy that brought it in from N.J.

Greg, just a side note. IF I am ever in the market for a new boat, I am going to you first to locate one.

You find some excellent looking stuff.

Thanks Ken, finding the rare stuff is a lot of fun! This one is really rare as it is the only one in the world set up for OB power never mind twins. Tremendous bow deadrise allows it to really eat up the rough stuff while still being well above 80 for top speed.

Deposit on new boat. Picking it up Friday. Hunter and I went for a fast ride today on Lake Simcoe. She rips. I no longer fly the Donzi flag but the wife still has the tattoo. I hope this is still enough of an in to run with the Donzi guy's.

I know that boat, they are built a couple minutes from my house, in fact the Co. owner, Todd, was in my shop a couple weeks back and lives a few blocks from me, they are VERY good boats, and fast as hell

Ken I think that my little wing man will be shotgun and the blond in the back. She should have a smoother ride. The oubard is something new, the last one I had was a 25H with quickie and all the go fast goodies mounted to a B hydro. Hope that this motor is more reliable. Sounds mean and makes quick work of the shoreline. Greg any experience with the 300x?

Greg Guimond

The "X" is different from the older Promax 300 motors in several ways. They put out about 330HP and demand a steady diet of quality fuel and oil. They were the most powerful motors that Mercury offered with the new "XS" Optis being the current new offering from Mercury. The "X's" are a little on the finicky side so you might want to join Scream and Fly and do some searches on "300X" to capture a bunch of handy information as you get to know the motor. They are getting harder to find clean so there is always a strong trade market toward XS power. Good luck.

Congrats on the new ride, sweet. See you in Kingston . I'm coming up the wed before the Poker- Pirates. I know where to report in Kingston. Not sure where in Kingston you hang - keep the boat in the neighborhood. Kingston is buzzing with all the  poker boats. Last time I docked where the poker boats dock on friday afternoon. Where's Ed D and Tim M........:crossfing::crossfing:

"Where's Ed D and Tim M"

I'm right here, listening quietly.

Thanking my lucky stars I won't get blown into the weeds on Lake Simcoe
by some orange monster. It's been banished to points east to hunt down Mikey O.

They're all a bunch of pirates down that way.

Oh yeah, after I decided to belly up to the bar
to jar the memory that used to live in my pants...
I had an "Awakening".

(Now I know why AOTH is such a popular event)

Ran the boat this weekend! Something to get used to. Still feeling it out! I think it is faster then the BH16!! At 90 it is still pulling like a bear. Man I love the big offshore bucket seats. Tim did you happen to see this boat from time to time?

Tim Morris
07-02-2012, 07:31 AM
Norm, I can't say that I'm familiar with the boat, although Dave McDonald (McDonzi) may know more.
I'm sure he'll read these comments as he posted above.

O.K. Mike...if the first one's on you the suspense is killin' me....which one is first? Would it be the sweet
young thing on the left....or the right? I'm all in either way.
