This boat's dock card indicated that it came to the St. Michaels, MD Classic Boat Festival all the way from Florida.

Note the stern dock lines lead inside via the engine room vents. That allows for a super smooth (no aft deck hardware ) look.

These photos are from the 25th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Festival in St. Michaels, MD that is held each year over the three days of Father'd Day weekend with a 2 hour boat cruise on Friday from about 2 to 4 PM, a full day of Seminars on Saturday, and an Classic Boat Awards Bar-B-Que on Sunday.

The Classic Boat Show Festival goes on over these three days also, along with kid's activities, 60 to 70 Vendors of Artisians, craftsmen, and Marine flea market stuff, as well as food/drink. There are also classic boats for sale in a "field of Dreams" area. The Show is so big that it takes up 17 acres.

This is Bert's boat "Pacifier". He is a registry member who put alot of time and effort into re-aquiring this unrigged hull and bringing it to life. He did an incredible job.

That was a Baby Donzi. The owner was the one that put me on the Phone with Allan "Brownie" Brown while I was standing next to the race boat (another wow moment).
Apparently is was a boat left in the mold for a lot of years and never fitted out until recently. And what a great job he did.

One of the six scheduled seminar speakers asked for and got a ride in this boat, a truely nice feature of this St. Michaels Father's Day Festival. I thank the owner for making this happen with his Donzi boat.

Lee Wangstad, who had come in from MN to be at the Classic Boat Show seminar program, is perhaps the foremost expert on classic Larson Boats in the USA. He gave a great talk about the history of Larson, particularly those boats from the 1950's and 1960's.

So, How did the boat perform? Lee could not stop talking it up to whom ever would listen to him. He says she is quick, has great steering, and gives instant control that is always at hand. No vices. Best of all, he had a big smile on his face that would not go away when talked about his ride.

I am glad that the show was a good time for you. Lee was happy, too. Plus, Mark is over-the-top happy, too.
