to all those who have served are serving and have long since past Thank You for our freedoms, your service and your sacrifices


Thinking kind thoughts today of Major Joseph M Veth U.S Army WWII and of Cpl Scott Lynch I visited them both today the local VFW post Flags at the headstone of all the veterans. Our local cemetary goes back into the 1800's there are flags posted at stones of civil war Vets were their names have faded from the stones but their service and sacrifices are never forgotten.

My Dad, WWII, USAAF 777 Th Bomb group, B 24's, Tunisia Africa, bombed the heavily defended Polisti oil fields in Romania. Life expectancy 9-10 missions.........:yes: My Mother was a Wave in the Navy. She sent my father her Wave hat. That lucky hat flew 50 missions over Ploisti and came back home signed by each pilot from each B24 who made it home. To all who have served........:ribbon:The hat. :salute: is on my wall
