What do you think is the ideal time lenght for a you tube video?

I saw my first race in 1965
the Round Nassau Race
with White Marlin, the old Formula 27 against Donzi 007

We were in a Cessna 172
and White Marlin was winning
Don took a shortcut and won the race.

Met him briefly after the race
and have been hooked ever since . . .

I think they're the same videos that Lars posted in the video section a month ago .
I'm surprised that they didn't garner many comments. I was going to tip off finscreen about the shot his Nova idling past in the back ground.

There it is @ 8:50 in the first vid. You guys would be amazed on how much info I got from 3 seconds of video. Thank you.
Here's one. The video is from 1968 but yet the boat is titled as a 1969. This documents that it is from the same year I am (yaaaa!!) and I always wanted a 1968 Nova. lol. The way it sat in the water in 1968. A bow rail that seems to be missing shortly after this shot (I think broke apart during this race) and lots more.....
I've got some studying to do and no better time with only a couple weeks until the boat show.:)

Pretty good looking girl for 44.

and that guy "riding" on the back of "Spooky" is nuts

What the he** ever inspired someone to come up with that design in the first place much less actually be back there while running ? ? ?
Maybe Brownie could shed some light on that baby .

I recall seeing Jerry Langer's outboard Magnum 27 at his dock many years ago when I was there. He was still alive then and his daughter told me that he absolutely loved that boat.

As for 'dupe topic' ... I think a lot of people who have little idea about the history of early offshore racing and how their boats were 'born ' will greatly appreciate the chance to see something that they may have missed first time around :checkered:

What a great film clip. As a new Donzi owner, it gives me a whole new perspective on my '68 Ski Sporter. Thanks guys!
