I will send Mr. Ditmar a p.m. and hopefully he chips in on this thread. Obviously this was a labor of love for

him and he's been a member on the Donzi Registry since 2004. Because of his drag racing background I'm

also very curious about these stroked Chrysler wedge mills he stuck in this amazing Sportsman. I wonder

if he's refering to eleven hulls made as possibly the number of racehulls that were produced? Donzi made

close to fifty Sportsman hulls in total as far as I have gathered from comments by members that know a lot

more about these fantastic vintage boats. Here's the link to the eBay ad for the boat and a couple of the

I am typically not very attracted to boats like this...absolutely love this one. And what a great story behind the owner of this rare boat. I'd be all over it if I had the cash. Thanks for posting this Lars

Sorry...had to chime in here. 275K????? He would be lucky to get 27K. I dont care how nice the boat is...it wil NEVER bring that kind of money...ever.
