See how many names you know..

There are people still here after 15 yrs and this site really goes back further..

Back then they had membership #s

It would be interesting to know what Buizzila, Frank,Geo, Poodle, Tim Morris, Ralph, to mention a few #'s they were

I believe when Scott upgraded to this format , everyone lost their membership number order...Ed

I don't think I've ever seen a member with a join date before 2000. Did you have a number, Ed?

Carl; All the people I listed Had a #

I think I was #9 or something...but...it was after the date of the thread I posted..

I think Tim Morris was the first Canadian...Ed

Gene, Forrest & Frank are the only ones I know in that thread. There are many others in the other threads. I first started reading threads in late 98 or early 99.

If I recall correctly way in the beginning it was a guy name Jim Cansul who started the posts then scot took over. the software change was. March April of 2000 that's why you don't see any join dates before that. When I joined a year later I was like number 450 Shortly after that the membership jumped into the 1000s

Matty, I remember Jim Cansul. I want to say he was out of Maryland. I wasn't a member then, but I spoke to Jim on the phone.

I also recall shortly after I joined there was a mix up with the screen names and numbers as Scot was tweaking the software. I posted a thread and I showed up as member Hornetman member # 3

It's a pretty cool blast from the past.

I used to read all the posts back then but it seemed much more technical and motor driven at first,
learned a lot about motors from those days.

Didn't join or post until I got my Donzi in 2001
Seemed like a club of just owners back then . . .

A lot of same names since i joined in 2003. I used to have more to time to visit the site but a baby and new boss put a damper on my free time.

Too funny, Matty...interesting trip down Registry memory lane.

I, also, remember poring over those threads. They were a wealth of information, and a big factor in helping me find my Ski Sporter.

I recall Gene Drago being pretty notorious, and Forrest Coile being extremely knowledgeable. I wonder if Poodle knows Drago...they seem like two peas in a pod!

April of 2000, here. Had a 16 and was starting to research a 22 that I took delivery of in September of 2000. My account got screwed up somehow and I had to join again a year later.

Red Dog just sent me some DVD versions of a video tape that Tom Riggle and many others shot of several interviews at AOTH 1 in May, 2001. Several old, but familiar faces including Tony and Cherie standing in their red skisporter, Frank Civitano and his procharged 22ZX, Poodle and the Tin Cup, Jerry and his tan 22, Geeo and the Mighty Mouse, and most impactful to me, Griz showing off his newly installed pro-charged 502 in the Criterion. Griz looked like a kid at Christmas time with that big smile! Eleven years ago, wow. We'll have a few of the DVDs at the AOTH auction. Thanks Red Dog for taking the time to do this.... memory lane is right.
