Complete Gel Coat, fresh stout 454, high performance exhaust, Bravo Drive w/4 Blade SS Prop, full hydraulic helm, Gaffrig controls, Autometer Gauges, including GPS speedo and depth gauge all w/anodized bezels, CD Stereo, Stainless Steel Handrails, Dual Batteries w/Switch, Swim Step, Trim tabs w/indicators. I use it in freshwater only, this is a fun reliable boat that runs like a sports car, has great feel and response and does great with a bit of choppy water. It is time for me to move to a bigger family boat. Asking $14,500. I will not accept ten or trades for bikes, the price is 14,500 I have several trips planned and this is a great/fun boat so I'm OK, I'm not hurting for cash, I'd just like to get a bigger boat. Please SERIOUS inquiries only. Thanks! dtcasey@hotmail.com

If I remember correctly, this particular boat was completely refurbished down to the glass not long ago. Looks great in classic white and also has external steering and a modified windscreen. 24 degree wave crusher that you don't often see for sale.......Team Warlock 23 "World Class Offshore".

Here's another one Greg. Maybe not up to the standard of Your find, but a nice original boat with a few upgrades.

Nice grab Lars. That Mississippi Team Warlock ad you found really does not give all the skinny. If I remember correctly that particular hull has some serious horsepower in it, I believe a 540 making well north of 500HP. I'm not sure why the owner does not list the engine details. That boat is also probably one of the last "23 Offshore" models built under Tom Stolarz before the model was pretty much discontinued. That gelcoat scheme is a one off, not the standard scheme offered from 1987 through 1990. It may have been built to a customer's desired specs given the enhanced power plant it has in it. That hull is easily capable of 80 fully loaded with that mill and I had heard some rumors of higher speeds for an accomplished helmsman. Amazed it is for sale at that price of $11,000. Someone is going to get a real sleeper!

Very rare to see two mint TPI 23 Offshore's for sale  Probably the best rough water sit down design out there.

This one is probably long gone by now up in Northern Cal, it was for sale back in January of 2012.

Evidently the all white Team Warlock has more power then I had thought with a Gen5 BBC producing 500 documented HP. At first I thought that $14,500 might be high but with the newer mill and a complete restoration it looks like the price is fair for a local buyer.

You're on top of all these Warlock boats Greg and I found Your original thread from January about this boat.

Here's the thread; http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?66865-1991-Team-Warlock-23-World-Class-Offshore

You state that he bought the boat for $15,000. He also mention in his ads that he's put a new Bravo on it and Your memory also

served You right about the horsepower, a 540" Merlin with a claimed 625hp. Here's another ad of his from back in December; http://www.boatsforsale-ads.com/ads/1991_23_foot_Ultimate_Warlock_23,_World_Class_2073 3.php

He was then asking $24,900. The thing I have an issue with is that he's asking $9,500 a month later!!! It is what it is, maybe some

mechanical issues? If not, I really like it, but of course I like all these Warlocks just like You Greg and I'm not in the market. My greatest

joy is that You found the 28 for Bill and I now hope that the engine issues he has are minor. Nothing comes close to the color combo and

condition of his boat it seems like and that pleases me greatly. Enjoy Your boating Greg and continue keeping an eye out for all these

great little boats so prospective board members have an opportunity to find themselves a gem.

Your engine is almost the same as the one in my 1989 28' Warlock, but you get about 16MPH more out of your 23' hull. Great looking boat there. Bill

Ritchie, it sounds like you have a true "original" complete with a full history. Stolarz built a very good boat back in the day and to have a freshwater only example with big power is very cool. Not sure where the photos that you posted of your sweet 1989 Team Warlock 23 went so here is one I grabbed of it. Post more when you get a chance.

Here is an unusual find. Team Warlock offered two 23 footers back in the late 80's early 90's. The first was the 24 degree Team Warlock 23 "World Class" Offshore, then there was the boat listed below, the 25 degree deadrise Team Warlock 24 "Euro Class" Offshore. The "Euro" had the molded in swim platform which added another foot and a different deck with rounded windscreen which at the time was a very progressive look.

1988 Warlock Euro Class 24' - white paint with blue trim and matching upholstery in great shape. 454 Chevy, Bravo 1 outdrive with 4 blade prop, new Dana trim tabs. Will run mid to high 60's depending on prop. Competitive tandem trailer. cell# 623-203-7095

Edit: Still for sale as of 2/15/13 price now $14,327

While the "Euro" above might be the first hull built by Team Warlock, this one might be the last. This is a very rare hull and could possibly be the last "Euro Class Offshore" ever built as most were built in the early 90's. This hull has a seldom seen 25 degree deadrise and is a real wave crusher. Unusual to see the Merc 500 high performance motor as well, must have been a special order at the time and very expensive. Very unique package and priced right for this year and options. This is the sister hull to the Team Warlock 23 "World Class Offshore" which has a 24 degree deep v of which there are three for sale out there currently. The integrated swim platforms added the extra foot. I have not seen a "24 Euro" model for sale in six or seven years. Very rare piece.

And why not an update on this particular 1991 Team Warlock 23 that Lars commented on above. It was in fine shape with nothing needing replacement and ended up selling for an even $10,000 in April of 2012. The starting price of $24,900 was a pipe dream but someone got a real steal at $10k. The boat actually stayed in Mississippi with its new owner and ran a GPS of 81 with the 625hp package.

Looks like a 1989 just popped on the market with a 454MAG making 365HP ............. $15,500

Pristine 1989 23 Foot Team Warlock World Class the boat has 150 Original hours on it. Newer interior installed. I am the third owner and have all the original paperwork for the boat it was originally from las vegas and a fresh water boat up until 3 years ago. This boat has been meticulously maintained its whole life and it truly shows, there is no bottom paint and it has a Mercury 454 Magnum 365hp Bravo1 Drive with a nose cone and a mirage 23 pitch 3 blade prop it’s a true mid 70mph boat on gps. This boat the integrity and attention to detail and performance is absolutely amazing compared to similar boats in its class this boat truly outclasses them and is not of your regular run of the mill production boat. The boat has a brand new pioneer stereo and speakers and has just been serviced and tuned up it is ready to go on the water! It comes with a cockpit cover and also a full boat cover. The boat sits on a brand new trailer bought in 2013. 301.455.6388 gakeats@gmail.com (gakeats@gmail.com)

Nice boat. The smaller Warlocks have a little bit of a Checkmate on steroids look, particularly with the rounded windscreen. $14k seems reasonable for this thing if it has good compression and a trailer.

Looks great for $16,900 but I had to loose the bimini for ya!

"I have a 1989 24' Warlock Euro Deep V high performance boat for sale. It is in very nice condition, fresh Mercruiser 7.4L 330HP carb motor, Bravo 1 outdrive, stainless prop, Stainless Bimini top, and full custom boat cover. Engine only has 130 hours on it, all the fluids, filters is fresh. Engine sounds awesome! It has a electric powered rear hatch cover, Pioneer MP3 stereo with remote, new battery, new bilge pump, new hydraulic steering, and all new rubber bellows on the outdrive. Some of the interior has been redone in carbon fiber vinyl, and looks very, very sharp, no fade no tears. Seating arrangement is 5 passengers, and an large closed bow up front. These are very rare hulls, and are fast, strong, can run in rough water, 65 MPH boat on stock motor. It sits on a custom Competitive tandem axle trailer, black powder coated, filleted welds. If you are interested, please contact me. I may consider trades for other boats, off road vehicles, RV toy hauler, etc... I have ownership paperwork in hand for trailer, and boat."

I'm seeing double. Here are two more new listings and very rare birds. At some point in the mid 90's when Tom Stolarz was selling Team Warlock to Carter Reed he built a Euro model but in 25' as a big brother to the numerous 24's. The 25's had a legitimate cabin under the deck with twin jumper seats and a bed. You almost never see them and the one in Canada is a repainted hull which is........well........different.

Team Warlock World Class 25 Euro, take your pick at $27,500 or $20,000 :woot:

Here ya go yeller. I'm not convinced that the Team Warlock Euro in Canada is actually a 25. Need to confirm it has a full cabin or is the more common 24 with tight playpen. That boat had a prior owner also in Canada.

As I suspected the Euro currently for sale in Canada is not a 25, it is the 25 degree deadrise 24 model. Here's the prior owners contact info who evidently is friends with glashole and owned it before the current seller.

This belongs to friend on mine. I do know a bit about it so if you have any questions feel free to ask me. I personally didn't like the colours until I saw it in person and out in the sun. Boat is about 1 1/2h from Toronto. Shea

Just when I thought I was the Cliff Clavin of Warlock's someone throws my robot a curve ball. This is a 1991 Marlin 24 Euro. What.....Marlin? The ad, while interesting, is not accurate as Team Warlock was building Euro 24 models in 1989. I will say this Marlin is interesting because they engineered a set of dwarf jumper seats and a small bed under the bow. How the hell did they do that? It also has the side windows and a substantial windscreen as well as a deck hatch. Have never seen a Marlin 24 Euro and probably never will again. Interesting and priced at $19,000.

Greg Guimond

I wonder if the bottom is the same 25 degree dead rise as the Team Warlock 24 Euro's bottom. I like the colors, they look current for a 23 year old hull :hi5:

Greg Guimond
08-05-2013, 07:59 PM
Well before Carl invented the "Carl Cabin" and George designed the "Carter Closet" for 22 Classics, the West Coast builders were being somewhat innovative with layouts. Here is a picture of the little jumper seat area under the bow. In front of those seats is the little bed. Hard to believe they fit all that in a low profile format. Team Warlock did not choose to do this with the bow area of there hulls being more of the APBA racer types. They just have a flat playpen floor with a cushion.

This 1989 Team Warlock 23 World Class Offshore is still for sale after months and seems all but showroom. How do you attach a price to a "like new" 25 year old boat and trailer with a major motor upgrade and $1,000's of dollars of extra's including stereo and a new race boat fuel bladder installed?

This one would be a good addition to someone's collection. Run it like once a year and have your staff polish it the other 364 days. 78mph on GPS with a Bravo 24" wheel.

Hello to all I am selling my 1987 23' World Class Warlock. I bought it over a year ago and just don't have the time to use it so it's up for sale. It has a 450hp 454, Hydraulic steering, and basic sound system (AUX port). The owner before me completely rebuilt this whole boat with new gel coat, rebuilt the motor (120HRS roughly), GPS speedo, and so much more I can't even list. I have all the receipts of all the work including a CD with pictures of the whole process this boat went thru. Receipts total around $20k. I'm asking $14,000 and it must be a good owner. If you would like to come check it out let me know. Serious buyers ONLY!!!! Don't call just to talk about the boat, call if you would like to see it.

Hey Greg, is your bot dead? No Warlock postings for a while now. The Warlock was one of the boats I was looking for (before the 22C). I would have looked at any Warlock at the time (and would have loved to have found a Euro), so I've been enjoying your postings.

Hey yeller! No the bot I think is ok (it has been scrubbing for V70R's) but I will say that the amount of Warlock listings has dropped way off. I'm not sure but a part of it is folks not selling during the off season I suspect. I just found another one that I have to yet post. The 23 Offshores and 24 Euro's are a ton of boat for the money. They tend to trade between $10k and $15k ($20k mint) and since most folks are not familiar with them you don't have to chase them. A collector quality 23 Offshore sold for $25,000 out of Seattle and ended up in Maryland but I have not found it since the new owner took title. Fast hulls with the narrow beam. There are more 23 Offshores out there than 24 Euros, probably 3 to 1. I thought that the Euro's extended transom swim platforms would present a problem in a following sea with wind but I actually learned that they serve to actually help raise the azz end of the hull due to more buoyancy when going slower.

I have been surprised at the selling prices. Back in 07, when I was looking, the Warlocks...and especially the Euros, were normally priced more than a similar 22C. Now it is the other way round. I could only find 2 Euros when I was looking and they were steep, at over 40k

2007 was the last year of full production so the Warlock name was still "known", at least to some back then. Seven years later and the depreciation is fantastic. Here is an example. This guy has what is actually a 1995 Euro 25. A couple of shops used the Warlock molds and sometimes you can find a really mint example for cheap. This Euro 25 has jumper seats under the deck and a more usable playpen area then the 24.

No Commander did not. In the case of the Team Warlock Euro 24, by getting an actual Team Warlock you are getting an outstanding layup schedule and a 25 degree deadrise, almost unheard of in a go fast. That "look" was being copied by a number of manufacturers with the integrated swim platforms, but all of those boats had a wider beam than the Team Warlock.

You'd really need to insoect it Bill. Just because it is the "Offshore" model does not guarantee that it is cored. The 24 "Euro" came both ways as well. The coring was a layup schedule option, and an expensive one from Team Warlock. If you climbed under the bow and there was an open glass area that wasn't covered with carpet, you could then tell for sure. The grid pattern will give it away. Just don't tell the owner what he has if it is!

This particular Team Warlock 23 Offshore was ordered in December of 1989 and went out the door at $39,400 in early 1990 with a new VM Trailer and a 454Magnum Bravo One package. As I give it some thought, my gut says that is on the high side price wise. I'll check my prices to see if there is any way to compare and determine if the hull carried the core option.

I was getting pretty interested when it hit $15k but I really still want an XRI so I kind of talked myself out of it. The fact you grabbed it is awesome. I'll happily wait for you to sell it if/when fully sorted. Stolarz at the wheel is tooooo cool. I do believe that you need to pay him a visit while he is still around. I'm sure he would have some interesting stories. These boats are very well kept secrets with the 6' transom width. I have a gent running 90 with one. Looking forward to you starting up a thread on it.

Thanks Greg! I was a little worried that I inadvertently might have stepped on a deal you were working on after you mentioned getting first shot at it if I sell it, but I wouldn't think you would have posted about it for sale if you were after it right now. Anyway, I already know it needs a little upholstery work and probably a new rubrail - no big deal. The new parts that Keith installed will more than make up for the small stuff I might have to do. I have a feeling I would get along with Stolarz fairly well and would learn quite a bit from him. Double down Bill, I like the sound of it :smash:

I poked around a bit and I believe that you will find upon inspection Bill that your boat is going to have the cored hull option. The fastest 23 Offshore in the country is running a 540 making 680hp spinning a Spinelli 4 blade and has laid down 92mph on GPS and 91 numerous times. It will be interesting to see where your drives prop shaft center sits below the keel when you get the 23 delivered. I am going to guess 4 1/4".

How did you come to the conclusion that the 23 I am buying has the cored hull? Those are some fast speeds for a 23' deep v. It is a 24 degree hull - correct?
By the way, Double Down is especially applicable since Keith is a casino dealer. (I just hope he is dealing me a good hand)

Well just don't hit 17. I took a look in the archives and the price that Keith paid back in 1990 is high enough that the cored option could have been included. The 23's are full 24 degree bottoms, yes. They are very fast for there size which is 23'6" tip to transom. The 92mph boat is running a stock drive I believe.

I'm not sure how you are dealing with getting the boat out of Vegas but if it needs some upholstery work and misc other stuff you will be passing by Lake Havasu and Arko Upholstery. These guys are some of the best in the business on dealing with older stuff. They fly under the radar though as they have plenty of referral work. The father runs Lake Havasu and the son runs South Padre doing Cats to G-IVs. Those Team Warlock 23 Offshores had a very peculiar interior material in the early builds. If it could be sourced or matched Arko Havasu would be the shop to do it. The Dad has connections that go back decades. They probably know Stolarz on a first name basis as well. They are exactly 2 hours from Vegas. Worth a phone call to check. Nice guys.

Thanks. I probably need to quit reading Greg's Warlock updates, but this one grabbed me too. I already got the okay from Keith to have it shipped after overnighting the payment on Monday so I started the Uship bidding tonight. Who knows - I might have it as early as this weekend. Considering all the improvements he had done and running close to 85MPH at sealevel, it did not take me any time to make a decision. Keith was surprised at all the calls he was suddenly getting from people in the midwest, but none from California or his area. He is overnighting the boat and trailer title to me which I should get Thursday. I will get it all dialed in with any upholstery work and rubrail it might need after test driving it ASAP. I am actually getting excited about it!

This purchase qualifies for the best deal of 2014, and it's only March. On speed, with a 4 1/4" drive depth I believe you will GPS a clean 80mph. These hulls are very fast but I don't see 85mph with a stock Bravo One drive. The Left coast crowd does not take to the old school look in boats so they have little interest in Team Warlock's. Makes for a nice arbitrage play if you are patient. Looking forward to the start of a new thread on this one upon arrival!

Yeller, this 1988 24 Euro is only a 60 minute plane ride away in Phoenix if your lookin to go walkabout and I happen to know he is VERY motivated to sell it. Very difficult to sell these boats in the Havasu-Vegas area. The white one isn't selling either. All the river rafters want rounded lines and crazy wild gel fades. Keith started at $20k, I was pretty serious at $15k but then the 23XRI Mid-Cabin with a 496HO showed up so I got distracted. You'll probably need to do some stuff to it Bill for sure, but I doubt much, and for $10k there is room to sort it out. Two things will be of interest, is it a cored model, and are the colors standard or a custom order from the factory. Nice work!

1998 Ultimate Warlock 24 Euro. This is pretty unique only because it was built after Stolarz sold his company to Carter Reed in 1995/1996. Unfortunately it has the 310hp MPI motor option which does not cut if for the high price. The graphics may be some of the best looking on this hull. Very current. The first guy I had lined up on Uship totally dropped the ball and quit answering his phone and did not arrive to pick it up so I had to cancel his bid and put it back up for bidding. I paid $300 more to another bidder who picked it up within 2 hours of consumating the deal and it arrived here this morning in less than 2 days from Vegas (1220 miles).
I could not be any more pleased with the boat!! Unfortunately, it started raining within 10 minutes of arriving, but it was very little rain. The driver told me it did not rain all the way here from Vegas. The pictures will probably show how immaculate the boat is if you can see past the raindrops, and the engine is unbelievable! Greg, it is a cored hull as you guessed!! I almost didn't have to crawl up front after knocking on the hull and hearing the solid sides, but I did. Some of the surprises are the new looking K-planes with trim indicators on the dash, high quality parts on the engine, new MSD system with the 6M box, Teague valve covers, trick trim pump, polished IMCO Powerflow exhaust system, new Gaffrig gauges and bezels, Gaffrig water pressure and oil temp gauges, depth sounder, very nice upholstery which does not really need work in my book. The gelcoat even looks wonderful. The only thing I am almost sure I will replace is the rubrail since the vinyl appears to have shrunk and broke in a few places. Yeller, I was going to report the negatives, but it is not possible -
I'll be hooking up and taking it to storage in a few minutes.

This boat Team Warlock Euro 24 is back on the market, reduced $2,000 because of the ugly photo with the bimini to $14,900 :blub:

Yeller, this 1988 24 Euro is only a 60 minute plane ride away in Phoenix if your lookin to go walkabout and I happen to know he is VERY motivated to sell it. He'll never come close to getting $15k for a variety of reasons. The trailer is a 1995. Competitive built a very high quality trailer. I know you have a soft spot for the Euro's and you certainly won't see another one in Canada

Stop it Greg!! You already got Bill to buy a Warlock. Leave me alone! :D I do have a soft spot for the Euro's. Just have a bigger soft spot for my 22C and I can't use 2 boats. I'm glad Bill picked up the Warlock. I was only going to buy it to flip. I'm pretty sure I could have made $6k on that boat up here.

The price on this boat dropped today to ........... $13,900 :blub:

The previous owner of my 28' Warlock changed the carpet to diamond plate aluminum in the engine compartment which probably makes better sense.

The 1987 23 Offshore is back on the market..........$14,000

How fast do you boys recon that White Knight boat runs?? I will be in the market for something soon, as I'm moving to Austin TX. Problem is that Lake Austin is only good for ski boats (really), and Lake Travis is still too low. Curious more than anything at this point. Thanks and best, Dave

There have been almost no Team Warlock boats up for sale over the last year. My bot has only found one boat, a 28 with twins. Now, for the third time in 4 years, this TW 23 Offshore just popped back on the market. Looks pretty good in the all white new gelcoat.

Below is the first ad from 2012 where the first owner re-did the entire boat and listed it for $14,500. Then, the second owner was getting deployed overseas and listed it for $14,000 in 2013.

Now, fast forward two years and the third owner just listed the boat for sale a few days ago for .......... $10,000 :blub:

I have already had at least 3 people try to buy my newly acquired 23'. Maybe that is why you don't see them for sale very often - they have a "waiting list" of buyers? I wonder if that white one has a cored hull and how nice the new gelcoat job turned out.

You're right Greg. This should be the Crusader 23 Offshore that was for sale a couple of years ago on craigslist in Ventura County, California. Looked like a not very well executed resto and the boat was for sale a long time. The fellow has filled the port holes among other things. Gene Willen of Howard Custom Boats bought the mold from Crusader and built 13 Howard 23 Offshore. 10 I/O and 3 outboard. Here's the only outboard built for twins and it's now in Louisiana. The Howard 23's were built to a very high standard.

Lars, as always you have the true details! I did not know that this hull (currently in New Hampshire) was for sale before. Stan from Crusader is still around btw. A question for you..............did Gene say they built 3 of the Howard Offshore hulls for OB power? I almost bought the Howard 23 Offshore that currently has twins when it had a single 300X. I did NOT know that Howard built 3 for OB power. Dean Dorsey in the Northwest was the first owner of the one 23 that was built for twins. Great guy and very competent high speed driver. Good to see you post Lars, hope you are well.

That sounds like a good deal considering the upgrades. I wonder if it is a cored hull. 625hp out of a 496 sounds a little exaggerated? Maybe not.

They did have a small dealer network although the boats were close to custom ordered. Less than a handful of 1987 HIN's including two Outboard boats used promote Yamaha's new 220 V6 Special wackers. In 1990 the Corona factory was going full speed.

Here is something cool. Looks like a Team Warlock 23, smells like one, but is a Crusader Offshore long deck. Gent says it is a '98 but it would be a 1988. I always liked the way they did the small windows. Colors are very current. What is very unique is this one has a pad bottom. Ready to go with a trailer and priced at $9,500

Yes, I saw that as well. The stamped HIN "CXNC0909B888" is Crusader. There is certainly a lot of mystery with this one hull with the delta pad bottom. Neither the Crusader's that Greg Briles originally raced in 1985 nor the Team Warlock that Tom Stolarz designed and raced starting in 1987 had any type of pad bottom. I will say one thing, if Gene at Howard somehow did the layup work on this one hull that price is a steal. Maybe Lars will see this post.

Caught this during my lunch break, but here are our old posts about this specific boat(link below). This is the 1985 Crusader 23 design by Greg Briles. All the Crusader production made ones I've seen have the delta pad, except the original race boat. The 13 boats Gene at Howard Custom Boats made too, should all have the pad also. I've seen maybe 7-8 of those and they've got the pad. Beautiful they are.
