Supposedly it overcomes the negatives of ethanol.

Been using it for a few years now. So far so good it seems-haven't noticed any problems. Gas kept over the winter seems to have behaved well.

Startron is the original solution to ethanol fuel problems. We've been using this in my shop on cars boats motorcycles for several years. Make certain to add it and get the fuel well mixed with it. I prefer to ad it to a half full tank and then fill the tank while trailering home.

I use the blue StaBil at every fill up and at a stronger concentration during winter storage. I just follow the directions on the back. It's worked well for me.
