Interesting new trim tab idea.

Anyone ride in a Donzi that has had them installed?

It would be a heck of a way to extend the bottom of a 16 as well as add some additional control underway.

I understand that they improved a Donzi 18 in both top speed and the ability to better control the boat.

Does anyone know if the Arneson drive company is still active?

Note, I am not promoting the plates. I am looking to understand the performance improvement on a Donzi deep vee boat.

the 18 in question was in the 1000 hp range and was running over 110 mph.
are you planning to repeat that?

That 18 had an arneson surface drive and the rocker plates could be configured in a few fashions to re configure the running surface
hook to help planning times or for forcing the nose down

rocker to allow for bow lift and let the nose rise (usually needed when running a surface drive)and

nuetral to act as normal tabs with leveling from side to side

on a 16 I'm not sure how they would help that hull has the built in hook and also from my experience once up and running bow lift is usually not an issue. normal tabs seemed to help keep the nose down when needed.
