We are in Key Largo for a little R&R and get away from the snow and cold. I have noticed lots of very impressive offshore hulls mainly fishing oriented but there are some really nice performance boats as well. What does stand out to me is the number of outboard powered machines. Lots of horsepower 225's to 300's in duals and triples. I have seen very few I/O boats so obviously have not been paying attention to current trends.
Saw some very nice offshore race boats just south of here yesterday but I am not sure if it was a race or just a show.
I was also surprised by the number of what I would call "outboard river racers" in the sheltered waters of the bays. Some very fast boats. Strangely I have yet to see a Donzi.
Enjoy the day folks.
