Sweet. I have a 1982 Mustang GT hot rod. I made a mistake of challenging a Porsche 911 turbo awd to a short drag race. That thing was gone like it was shot out of a sling shot. Yikes! Maybe I could have caught him in a full quarter mile but street races are 2 gears (out of 5).....

Jay, I didn't know you were a P-car guy... sweet! I love those early 930s... my first Porsche ride was in a '76 Turbo and I've been hooked ever since!

Love to see yours sometime...

You can not mix a thread about "AMERICAN iron Goodness" with talk about a Tarted Up VW Beetle:lookaroun:

Good Luck with TEALOMONSTER Jay.

Jefe, since I'm the guy with the classic sailboat for an avatar on a Donzi site I'd say anything goes!

Beautiful Car Woobs! '72 has always been one of my favorites ...down below a street driven '73 RSR or RS.

At any rate, over the years I looked at buying one but that was back when I was either a poor college student or early in marriage. ...you know those days when you could pick up a nice '72 or '73 S for about 10-15K.

My car is actually a '74 Mexico Blue 911 modded up for track use and/or hill country runs. The '79 930 belongs to a buddy of mine that is working on the Donzi with me.

OK, Back to our normal programing.

Started to sort out the wiring and building of a new harness for the donzi this weekend along with trying to design new brackets for the various things that were attached to the old OMC exhaust (electrical fuse box, oil filter and gear selector bracket) Stay tuned.
