OK Folks, we had lunch the other day at TopWater Grill during some AWESOME January Boating. During Lunch we talked a bit and decided that 2 events would be better that one. So, that's the Plan Man.

May 11-13 - Mother's day weekend, but what better way to spend time with Mom!!!, and it gets us geared up for AOTH!!!!

Aug 3-5 - Right in betweeen July 4th and Labor Day.....and It will be H-O-T....Perfect Bikini weather :kingme:

We know these are mostly local, and the May event is right before AOTH......but we would love to host some out-of-towners at both events. Like I tell everyone, around here we will treat you so many different way, you're bound to like some of them!!

OK, so I'll buy the beer for any of you scalliwags that want to come by and help me finish getting the 22 re-rigged in the Spring and I'll make both events.

Cheers,
Jay

Buddy C and family might be joining us for a visit during this get together. Scouting might be his mission. So fellow boat owners, if you can and have a seat please offer this to our friend and his family. I have a full boat but i'm sure we can make them feel welcome as can be and float them around a bit.

Yes I said I have a full boat. Machine shop said 4 weeks. Sweating bullets at the moment.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, however, Labor Day approaches and no real plans. It's been a long time since we have all fellowshiped on the water and if there is a chance we could get together the Saturday of the holiday to run to the Galveston Airport beach for a raft up, I'd like to get a few group pictures of all the Donzi Crew. Later we could have boiled shrimp and all the fixens for all. Depending on how many are comming we may need all small donation for food cost, I usually can get a really good price on bulk tails. We are likely staying at the bay house so come and join us regardless.

Marvair

If there are light winds we could run the chanel, if a stiff South wind is up the Galveston shoreline East or West is protected.

I hope to do a 12:00 dunk, if there's any water. Tides are comming back but the North wind from Issac really sucked all the water from Texas. I can be reached on my cell anytime for directions to the bay house.

y'all have fun. I am really surprised that my 22 is not in the water already. (if anyone has a favorite, reliable mechanic send me a p.m. b/c I'm about ready to hand it off)-simple repower has taken alot longer than I expected plus I had a little scope creep on the project like usual.

I'll probably be out on the sailboat thinking I might do the Redfish raft up on Sunday and listen to Kelly McGuire play. If any of y'all are buzzing around Redfish the refrigerator and the bar will be stocked and the BBQ grill working so if you need a refill look for BANJO GIRL swinging on the hook.

Cheers,

Jay
