1974 Donzi 16 OB - "The Mule"

Selling 1974 16 OB Baby, hull only. This hull has had a delta pad and reinforced transom installed and has served as a test bed for a variety of power options for another 16 OB project that seems to be taking forever to finish. Powerplant testing is now complete so the hull is surplus and for sale. On a 1-10 scale I would grade it a 6. This hull has clocked low 80's consistently and has routinely commuted between New York Harbor and Westport CT. For test purposes I have tried to break it but no luck so far. It aint no garage queen but it's all there. Being sold without power and without trailer. Would make a great donor for a one of a kind resto, which I may do to it if it does not sell. Did I just say that? Comes with new Sea Star Pro, Custom Foot Throttle, 9 Gauges, C_ckpit Cover.

$7,500 and I will help deliver it anywhere in the lower 48 to make it easy on the buyer.
Fun factor is absolutley priceless and goes up the bigger the OB.
You are buying one of two pad bottom 16 OB's known to exist.
Learn with a 150 and then move up to a 250 after seat time.

Thanks Bill. I added some pictures of the transom knees. They run from the lip down through the splashwell and are glassed into the stringers and hull floor. Far thicker then would be required for this small a boat but more is always better with big power. Boat also has the last OB interior that BiltRite ever did which is about 4 years old I think.

I know of a shipper going to LA empty in a couple of weeks. Easy pull to all points West :drive:

Thanks for the kind words JV. There are never more then a few 16 OB's for sale in the country and this one is truly unique. It is also the only one to have broken the 80mph mark so the buyer gets one fast Baby!
