This classic Donzi Sweet 16 is powered by a 2007, Chevy 383 Stroker V-8 developing 400 HP. Engine, hull and trailer are in like new condition. The boat, motor and trailer have been meticulously restored by licensed and certified mechanics and fiberglass artisans.
The Boat
White with red trim and shines better than new. I have restored 3 areas. The forward area of the deck had been gouged by the winch platform. The forward edge of the keel had been “roughed up” by grounding the boat on sand bars and the red stripe had been slightly faded from the sun. All 3 areas have been repaired. The two seat cushions are new, the rest of the upholstery is in good condition. New dark grey carpet from Donzi Direct. All gauges work. She has a brand new, Sunbrella full cover and cockpit cover. I even had the trailer guide-on covers made from left over material. The boat is equipped with Bennett trim tabs and a Lorance digital depth sounder.
The Motor
Installed in September 2007, this 383 Chevy Stroker V-8 engine is equipped with Edelbrock intake and carburetor and K & N air filter. She generates 400 horsepower with speeds up to 68 miles per hour (on the GPS). New impeller, service, and replaced some questionable wiring. Starts and runs like a dream. Exhaust through the transom. Prop just polished and cleaned.
The Trailer
2006 Karavan aluminum trailer. New hubs and bearings, new wheels, new radial tires, new jack stand, new winch, new bunks and new, non-marking Stoltz bow roller. Custom, red guide-ons to match boat color. Ready to tow anywhere safely and reliably.
