That really sucks, especially when paople aren't ready for it. Must be a lot of downed trees with all the snow and the leaves still on.

18" of white stuff is nothing to be concerned about. Some dudes in St Pete just got busted with 7 TONS of it....$180mil worth.

Oh....you meant the other snow. That is why people live in FL, our snow you usually don't need to shovel.

7:45 Just spoke with Ken still no power as his house or place of work, he says gas lines where available are two miles long. He is stuck tending the generator, other than that he must be bored to TEARS!

Well, I am finally on the boards.

Couldn't log on for weeks.

Was without power for 4 days. I heard parts of the state were dead for over a week. (On a business trip for two weeks)The boss man at Connecticut Light and Power resigned, and brush is piled every where.

It will take months before the mess is cleaned up. If it snows before the clean up is done, it won't be finished until next spring. Ther must be a million yards of brush that has to be hauled away and chipped.

Saw 6 crews hauling brush yesterday in one town from Missouri. I can't evem imagine the cost of cleanup.

At one time I think the news said 880,000 with out power. The most in Ct's history.

People in $750,000 homes bitchin' because of no power. Maybe they should sell their Audi's and buy a Subaru and a whole house generator

Well it is behind us and now we move forward.

Ken
