We have been getting hit with freezing rain all day in Jersey. It just changed to snow about an hour ago... Had to dig out my gloves!

Started snowing at 1:00 PM it is now 7:20, I have over 10 inches on the ground.

Trees still have leaves on them and 30 foot Birches are touching the ground. Tomorrow will be a mess.

Still have power though.

Started to sleet & snow here just west of Philly around 10:00 AM.
Power was out for four hours in early afternoon.
We now have about 4 inches of slushy wet heavy snow on the ground and it supposed to stop at midnight.
Leaves still on the trees here also.
Trees are going down all over this region.

60 - 65 degrees and sunny here.

We gave up great pizza and people who could talk about things other than " Georgia Bulldogs" ( whatever they are) when we left New Jersey. We got good weather in return I guess.

Power gave out at 8:30 last night. Haven't been out yet to check the carnage, but at lease 14 inches of snow. WTF?

Final tally, 18 inches of the white stuff. My town is 100% with out power. About 1/2 of the state is 80-100% with out power.

pictures? I think my bride may have taken some.

I will post later if she did.

Now, if I can just fins a gas station open and pumping gas, life will be good.

A year to remember or maybe forget.
Aug and half of Sept was washed out due to rain, then it got cold and more rain and now this ....crap. The little crab boat and the race boat are already put away for the year but the 19 (with the most expensive motor I ever built in it) is not yet. And I refuse to this early but I may have to go stick a light bulb in the motor box tonight. This is crazy. :yes:
