Boat doesn't have an occupancy tag...does that mean that it is considered a "sea vessel" and can hold as many passengers as there are life preservers?

No, it just does not have a tag. You should be able to get one. Let me know if you can't find any. I picked up one before. I had a ton going on at the time, so I don't remember where it came from. I could probably dig it up after a while.

You can get the tags on eBay for cheap. Also, the occupancy of a 25ZX is 6 people, but that seems pretty conservative to me considering there are 2 designated seats in the cuddy. Seems like it should be 8 to me....

They might not want people in the cabin due to carbon dioxide....just a thought.

not arguing with anyone, but 6???? that seems like bs to me...how do they come up with this number? my father has a pontoon rated for 22 people...with 22 on board the deck is at water level (saw it with my own eyes)....I would never want 22 on my donzi, but it wuold be more sea worthy than the ole mans pontoon...

My x18 is 6. At least that is what the new tag says!

My 21 bowrider is rated for 10 pax/1420 lbs and 1600 total pax + gear. Realistically it's about perfect for 4-5 adults.

My 28 ZX doesn't have a tag either, but it has 6 headrests so I am assuming.....6?
