My good friend that is on Lake Mead told me that that was a brand new 28' Hallet that was running across the water and claimed that a lake lice pulled out in front of him, lost control and ran ashore. Never found the lake lice, supposedly there were witnesses, and this was the guy's first boat and maiden voyage. Now, how much of it is true, you decide. This is also right around where the 45ZX just went down, right by the Narrows of Lake Mead.
