My wife, Elaine, likes to listen to lectures and such on the road.
When I saw this new VW ad for a Diesel Passat, I immediately thought of her.
There's a lot of truth here actually!

Books on tape (cd) every damn time. Got to admit it helps pass the miles though.

That's a very effective and funny commercial, maybe I think that because my wife is a Spanish HS teacher and i've been married for 30 yr's to her, and the only damn thing I know how to say in spanish is: two beers please. >Dos cervezas, por favor

Maybe that's because I don't need to to know anything else in that language? LMAO! :beer:

The first thing that hit me was how funny it was, and then how appropriate it was for Elaine!

It seems that lately the networks have been filled w/really bad commercials....
The kind that when it's over, I look at Elaine and ask;
what was the point of that?

I loved this one!

That was good...sure beats the Brooke Shields VW minivan commercials.
