tried to post pics twice but they are not showing on the thread. there's a guy in florida named hubert, email him at an'hgpmarco@aol.com'. he had a 2001 22 classic hull with a blown 7.4 merc already pulled out and drive off. i paid $400 for a survey that came back very good. White/ red stripe. looks to be in great shape. i had him to $8500 with an aluminum trailer but the trailer turned out to be no good and he didn't want to separate them. i bailed on the deal and bought my '02 and a week later he was ready to negotiate. too late at that point. he was a nice guy, contact him as it was only a couple of months ago and he wasn't aggressively pushing it. i can email you pics if you are interested

I know you want newer but there was a 1987 with a blown BBC and alpha on Long Boat Key, FL for $4-5k. Rough but complete. If interested look at Sarasota, FL CL and look for a 7/31 listing on the Donzi search.
