Aside from the debates on topside paints, I dont recall a topic on non skid.
Some feedback on what others have used and how it held up would be appreciated. Debates are welcome and encouraged

I'd rather use paint. Probably be easier and wont have the issues of gel bonding to epoxy.

Artie, I dont know how I missed that thread. From your posts I never doubted your glass/paint ability, but that was a great project.
I didn't see anything there about non-skid though. I thought I'd get a bit of feedback on this subject. I dont want to use carpet.

I have had very good results using awlgrips interlux / intergrip. You can use it in any epoxy paint just mix it in and paint away. It's much smaller than a traditional aggregate but coarser and won't west through the paint, it becomes part of the paint.

Hey, I just used freakin Rustoleum with a hardener on my boat and couldn't be happier. It's not exactly "non-skid" but it's not very slippery, even when wet and looks great. There are additives you can add to paint or epoxy coatings to make them "non-skid" but I've never used them. Though, my shop floor is soooo damn slippery at times, I wish i did.
