Thousand Island Run

Was wondering if anyone would like to get together Sat Aug 6 for a run in the Thousand Islands? Kind of last minute, but this will be at the same time as the TI poker run out of Kingston.

Well... for some reason this year the poker boats (8/6) and the pirates (8/12) are gathering on different weekends.:( I know they have nothing to do with each other but. It sure made for one big party when they concurred :biggrin.:. Ill see what happends after I'm done with the winni party. It started yesterday for me :). Ken, when R -U on vacation.

Just came back from a 2 week vaca. First week at the Tail of Dragon and the second week boating in Muskoka.

From what I understand Ken there will be some boats on display friday evening. Patio season downtown is in full swing. Sundress season is on!

After going up to 1K for so many years it hurts having to work and not be there, it is one of the greatest boating spots on the eastern side of our country. For those of you that make it have a great time! Hey Ken take them out to the Boutique on the island off Clayton everyone gets a kick out of that stop over.

Yeah, I stopped by Boldt to check into customs coming back from Canada.

Took over 2 hours to get from Gananoque to Boldt castle and back to my camp in Cape Vincent. The conditions were awful. Must of been 4-5 foot swells in the narrows by the Coast Guard station and just slop from the bridge to Clayton. Finally had a chance to stretch some legs just up river from Bartlett Point. Ran from there to past Linda Island at 60-65. Ran past my camp 2-3 miles 'cause the water was excellent at 70 and lifted when Zinger said my seat cushions were blowing out.

Had a great time with Norm and his family, (I can understand how Hunter hands on, but I swear Loretta has gel under her nails), and Dave and Nora in their Z-21.

Not as many Donzi's as in years past, but a good time was had by all.


Need for Speed, what is your cell, I will be up next weekend.

Was great to see you Ken, Dave and Nora, and meet Zinnger(Jim). I can just imagine how rough it was, I wish we were there to run up river with you. I could watch that yellow run all day. Sorry Terry had to work! It is always a pleasure!

Been the last 2 yrs. Pirate's Mar-Di-Gra on the river, huge party. Got to work this weekend. Im bummmmming.......BIG TIME. :(
