Here she is, my new (and first) Donzi, a 22 Classic. Got the deal done last week and had a great 4th of July weekend on the boat. These pics are total crap, but had to get something up. This boat is a blast to drive. I heard people say that over and over, but you really don't get it till you get get behind the wheel of one. The Donzi fever is setting in....

Nice looking boat. Looks like you are already having a great time with it. What year is it? Have a great summer of Donzi fun.

It's a 1996 with a 454 mag and bravo one. I actually had my eye on the one down at pier 57, then it sold. This one was for sale just a couple hours away so I thought I would go over with my wife for a test drive just to see how we liked the 22 classic in general. Well needless to say we liked it. I had the boat 2 days later. Getting the deal done before the fourth was huge.

I'll have a lot more pics and vid to follow. I have a gopro HD which is a blast. Here's a vid I shot from the boat last weekend:

Welcome to the forum. I don't know how much experience you have driving fast next to another boat going fast..particularly a boat with a big rooster. The other boat was obviously trimming his drive up to make a big rooster..probably to impress you. In the video I was certainly impressed enough that I would have been no where near that boat...particularly back near his rooster. If he had decided to make even a moderate turn to the right, his rooster might have blown you and your passengers right out of your boat. :bonk:

BTW: This post certainly wasn't intended to offend...just an observation. I hope you enjoy the boat and take some time to get familiar with it. I think they call it "Seat Time". DJ

definitely does not offend me. I'm certianly not a rookie boater, but I am no expert for sure. I guess what I left out as a comment to that video is that is a very good friend of mine driving the boat, and everything that was done was planned ahead of time. Believe me I don't make it a habbit to tail a boat just feet away from entering its wake.

Looking forward to another great weekend of boating.
