I was talking with Billy Frenz via email about this year's Don Aronow Memorial Around Long Island Race. There are classes for boats from 18 to 50 feet so almost any Donzi model could enter.
Last year's race was won with a 31 Sonic with small blocks and there was a smaller Donzi entered as well, I think it was a 21GT.
Here are the classes:
Class A 42 to 50 feet 3 or more engines
Class B 30 to 41 feet 2 engines
Class C 25 to 33 feet Outboards and Single Inboard
Class D 18 to 24 feet Small Boat Class
Class H Historic Open & Production class categories
It would be great to see some Donzi's enter and win this race.
