I can't seem to find an answer. What is the max diameter? I currently have a 13 3/4" 23p cleaver on a 18 with a 350. I spun the hub this weekend. There is a week turn around for my prop to get a new hub. I want to know what options I have for a used replacement to get boating this weekend or any ideas for a new one. Thanks.

Lots of guys running Hydro's on their SS's think they are around 15" but don't hold me to it, think you'd be fine with about anything you get your hands on.

i've got a couple cleavers I could lend ya but I think your too far away

a round ear 14.25x22 Turbo would work, but it's a little bouncy up top

I wouldn't let diameter stop you but I can tell you a 15" diameter 4 blade will suck that engine down to disappointing numbers

Thanks for the input. I took it to a prop shop this morning and they were great the owner pressed out the old hub and sold me a Michigan Wheel hub kit. He didn't charge me to press it out. Here is the shop http://thepropellerworks.com/ They contract out to a lot of the local marinas. Great people great service. I will probably still get another prop but I am going to do a lot of research befor I buy. Just glad I can run it this weekend.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Quad IV O/T, and I last ran an Intimidator III on my Alpha SS on my 16; however, I've turned the best top end with a 30 year-old three-blade Mercury outboard motor cleaver. :boggled:
