I suspect that my power steering cooler is leaking into my cold water stream. I have a hint of an oil prism in the exhaust as it hits the top of the water. I had noticed that the power steering pump was excessively low on first start up this year. There wasn't any oil in the bilge, so I don't think I have a hose leak any where.

Joe pull it and pressure check it, use the two small ports it should hold 30psi for 15 minutes. It would be odd for it to get into your cooling water as there is very little if any pressure, I have seen the pump get water when the cooler develops a leak. The oil flows through the cooler and back into the PS resivour, frankly I have wondered a few times why it is cooled in the first place! IMO under hood temps on a road machine get higher than our engine compartments, not advocating its removal just spitting my thought out.
