I would be seriously interested in trading my turn key 1980 22 Criterion for a 22 Classic (pre spread stringers), 21GT (no Volvo's), Hornet II, Z23 Deckboat (must be stepped hull and MPI 300)

most everybody knows, or has seen the boat

I would entertain up or down trade, or equal value swaps

I would entertain a no engine 22 swap

or i'll sell it outright @ $24,000

serious inquiries only

I do have the 82 Hornet II that I scored on ebay app. 18 months ago more like 2 years I guess. Strucurally restored with new moeller tank needs all the cosmectic interior and gel or paint but is now solid with new stringers and floor. Power is vortec block 5.7 running great with new heads and exhaust mani's.very good gone through alpha II also availible a second drive that checks out as well. All original interior is intact all foam good and dry for 18 to 24 months now new bench base manufactured just all needs to be put together. I don't want to trade anythying just thought I would offer it up or pm me what you want for the critter. My wife is wanting a fish boat as well as me go figure. After having the 353 Fastec
she doesn't feel safe on the smaller boats.
Thanks,Jim

Although I personally am not seriously interested in a Criterion, I do have two people that own Donzi's that have shown interest in owning one. I would mention this criterion to them & let them try to work out something. before I do that, it may be best to find out if their boats would be a Donzi that would be worthy of a trade. Therefor I am not familiar with the term (pre spread stringers), is there, maybe a range of years that corresponds to those? Also when the statement, no Volvo's is that referring to any boat that ever had a volvo or Volvos on it or maybe a GT-21 that used to have a Volvo that now has a Bravo or TRS? Of course it is not necessary to answer me about these questions, but maybe just an answer to them in general. If there are any non registry Donzi Owners that may be interested in a Criterion, I would be glad to help them get a Boat that they might enjoy owning. T Tom, the stringer width issue concerns the 22's... I really don't want a Volvo drive boat only because I am more familiar with Merc stuff and don't want the propping hassles.... I am zeroing in on the next project(s) so the Critter needs to go.

thanx for the interest

Jim, if you have a critter what the hell do you want with a GT21? You want width, higher freeboard, less length and a far forward windscreen? The GT rides ok but I think the critter has the hull of a 22 classic, much better in my opinion. Would be interesting to hear about your plans.... did you consider modifying the critter?

I have seen and been in Jim's Critter. It looks like the day it left the factory. As far as I am concerned, it is the finest original Critter left. Runs fantastic to boot. This Critter is going to make someone VERY happy..... :)
