Wanted to cook a little grub tonight at AOTH, but we couldn't find any wood to light a fire. Thirty miles round trip to 76 Falls and we spotted one floater.

Any of you out there who want to bring a little fire wood in, we could use it.

You could always do a Donzi "Tech session" on transom & stringer wood removal & repair and tear into some unsuspecting Donzi owner's "restoration project boat" ?
Lots of old firewood there i'd bet ?

Where I live in Pa. you cannot have a charcoal BBQ or any wood fire in your own darn home fireplace.
Might be the same in that area ?

Yep~
You can thank the green environment folks for that law.
No charcoal fires, burning of wood, or wood fireplaces, no buring anything etc.
And no hanging laundry or wash outdoors .
These folks are just nuts.
They have taken this environmental thing way too far.

I don't want to get too far from the initial intent of this thread ~
But the issues are with the Township & County and the newer yuppies that are now on the Twp. comission that are running things around here. I have lived here for 30+ years.
They want to control everyone's lives & property,
They have given me issues about my boats here,& my colletor cars etc. I am not supposed to work on any cars or boats here now.
I have had my own car lift here in my own garage now for 25 years.
I have been forced to convert my fireplace to a vent-free natural gas unit.
No more wood fires.
You cannot hang-out any wash & laundry because it is "an eyesore".
These folks are out of control !
I give them issues all the time. They want me out~ I have told them to take a hike .
I am NOT going anywhere.

Sorry for the thread hijack.
