View Full Version : Bravo drive gaskets....

Removing a Bravo for the first time in a while. In the new gasket/seal set I see gaskets for the shaft, water passage, oil passage and shifter passage.
There is no large perimeter gasket like on an Alpha? or am I missing something.

No, it actually seals on the end of the bellows (I think) which is inside of the bell housing.
A $25.00 manual is particuarly handy in situations like this.
Every owner should have one.

Great, thanks, more curious than anything since it has worked fine for years and I put back everything I took out.
I have the Merc #xx Bravo Drive manual and it unfortunately does not explain it.
