This thing is very cool........

SUPER CINDERS 80-K
This is your chance to own a one of a kind!

A 23’ 10” Patterson Flatbottom. Powered by a supercharged 1710ci Allison V-12. The motor has approximately 6 hours run time since a complete restoration was completed in 2005. This boat was Bob Patterson’s own boat that he raced in the Big Marathons in the 1960s. The boat was raced as a K boat establishing a Kilo record in 1969. (See APBA record on their website). The boat is painted in its original K-Boat Scheme. The Allison engine was built by Bob Patterson and John Wolf originally for Bobs unlimited. It is hooked up to a Dan Arena V-Dive with a 275 gear to a 1 ¼ prop shaft. I have two propellers a 2 blade and a 3 blade that go with this boat. All of the Hull restoration was done by myself, my Dad and Harlan Orrin who put a new deck on it. Bob Patterson, John Wolf, Dwight Moody Sr. and Dwight Jr. Took care of all the hardware installation. This Boat is totally period correct. The Trailer is original frame that I modified it has new axels one with Disc Brakes and 10” Asen Mag Wheels. New leaf springs with fireston air bas to soften the ride, when towing along with all new wood steps.

WOW!! What a beauty and piece of history. Can you imagine how quickly you could PO your neighbours with that exhaust system!!

Beautiful workmanship. Hope you can move that one to someone who has the ability to maintain it and occasionally use it. Really, really nice boat, you should be proud of the effort put into this one.

Now IF that WWII era Allison V 12 aircraft engine would only fit into a Donzi 18 or 22 engine bay hatch &bolt-up to a Merc #6 drive ~~~ ?
